Here are a few projects that we are aware of that family researchers are working on in response to the COVID-19 outbreak and its effects.

• Journal of Family Theory & Review is currently soliciting theoretical or review papers examining the impacts of pandemic events (e.g., H1N1, SARS, COVID-19) on family processes. • Participants are needed for a new Family Science study on COVID-19: Effects of a Global Stressor on Couples in the United States, conducted by Dr. Ashley K. Randall at Arizona State University. Learn more.

• Researchers from the University of British Columbia have received federal funding to help with global COVID-19 response. One of the researchers, Yue Qian, Ph.D., is the 2019 recipient of the Wiley Prize in Family Science, The Alexis Walker Award. Dr. Qian is originally from Wuhan.

NCFR members can post requests to recruit study participants in discussion groups they are a part of with the exception of the all-member group.
