Banners, posters, and signs are just the beginning. Interior and exterior signs, adhesive wall graphics, point-of-purchase displays, window graphics, large format prints, laminating, magnets, floor graphics, standees and more! The Mamaki JFX200 UV flatbed printer can print on sheet materials up to 2 in thick. Even a door! Our Mimaki JV150-160 roll printer can print on a wide variety of roll materials including canvas, vinyl and paper. Whatever you print on, we can automate the cutting process with the DYSS X-5 cutter. With the ability to through-cut or kiss-cut, the X-5 accelerates the finishing process and saves you money. If your design calls for routing or carving, we have you covered with the DGS Tornado II CNC router. We can rout metal, plastic, or wood.

Johnson Printing has several different offset presses. We have two Heidelberg Speedmaster offset presses. The Speedmaster 102, 6-color perfector can handle press sheets up to 28" by 40" and print 4-color process and 2 spot colors plus apply an aqueous coating in a single pass through the press. The Speedmaster 52, 5-color perfector can handle press sheets up to 14" by 20" and print 4-color process and 1 spot color. In addition to our large presses we have three ABDick 9800 series presses capable of printing on 12" x 18" sheets as well as envelopes.

The Xerox Iridesse Production Press can print single sided or duplexed in Full Color as well as Gold, Silver, Clear and White for added impact. Maximum paper size is 40 x 13! In additon to the Iridesse we have a Xerox D110 Pro digital press for your black and white printing needs. If you need Full Color envelopes we have the  iJetColor NXT inkjet envelope printer. Capable of printing up to 2000 envelopes per hour.

bindery

Folding, finishing, and binding, are all part of our commitment to quality. Once off the press, our high speed MBO 17 1/2" x 23" and MBO 26" x 50" Folders will handle sixteen-page signatures. The Duplo System 5000 20 pocket Collator/Booklet maker system makes short work of your collating needs. The Muller Martini, 6-pocket gatherer saddle stitcher will flawlessly bind, with four staple stitch capability, brochures and booklets up to 12 x 14 inches. We also have a RosBack Mini Perfect Binder and a Chandler Multi-Head Drill. The Polar 115 X cutter with stack lift and automatic jogger makes cutting easier and more efficient for the operator. We are capable of Wire Stitching, VeloBinding, Plastic Binding, Spiral Binding and Laminating.

Clifford M. Johnson founded the Johnson Company in 1953. Mr. Johnson started his sales and service business in Rochester, Minnesota with the help of two employees – Evelyn his wife and Donald Butters, his associate. Mr. Johnson received many awards for his service endeavors including being the first Rochester businessperson inducted into the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame, accepting the Rochester Mayor's Medal of Honor and the Sertoma's Service to Mankind Award. Over the years the company has grown and evolved as a full-service commercial printer known for community leadership and dedication. Currently, 23 associates continue the legacy that began with Mr. Johnson, lead by the second generation, his daughter and son.

Participation in the PIM Great Printer Environmental Initiative is a voluntary effort by printers to demonstrate their commitment to minimize their impact on human health and the environment while producing quality printed products. Great Printers go beyond what is required by government agencies in environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance. Great Printers are green printers. The PIM Great Printer Environmental Initiative has been in place for over 13 years. It evolved from the Great Printers Project, which was a collaborative project by the Council of Great Lake Governors, the Environmental Defense Fund, and the Printing Industries of America, Inc.
