Apply for NCFR Honors by September 22

Did you complete a degree this past spring or summer, or do you anticipate completing your degree this fall?

NCFR wants to recognize the outstanding academic, leadership, and community service achievements of its student members with the NCFR Honors Student Recognition Program.

This designation is available to students of all academic levels — bachelor's, master's, and doctoral.

If you meet the basic eligibility criteria — NCFR student member, 30 credits of family-specific coursework, GPA in your major of 3.5 or better — submit your honors application by Monday, September 22!

Completing Your Family Science Degree?
Become Certified in Family Life Education

Students finishing a degree program in the Family Science discipline can apply to become a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) and further boost their professional credibility.

Search the degree programs guide for CFLE-approved programs or view the complete list.

If your current degree program is CFLE-approved, you can apply right away after graduation for certification.
If your program is not on the list, you can take the CFLE Exam.

First-time CFLE applicants can also apply for the CFLE Scholarship which covers up to 50% of the application fee.
