Call for Authors: Family Focus Sibling Interactions and Family Dynamics Proposal Deadline Extended: March 7
The centrality of siblings as a source of influence and tension in family life is well-established. We know that increases in divorce, remarriage, and stepfamily formation added complexity to sibling interactions. What about the complexity of sibling interactions in the midst of global uncertainty and rapid social change?
Family Scientists are encouraged to submit evidence-based proposals that critically examine the internal and external factors that influence sibling interactions, sibling relationships,
and broader family dynamics, highlighting challenges and opportunities for growth and well-being.
Example topics include:
- How does caring for aging parents affect sibling relationships?
- If and when do siblings share information about unknown siblings?
- What role does social media play in sibling connection and interaction
- How do siblings adapt to
alienation and exclusion?
Prospective authors should submit their proposals by March 7 using this online submission form. Contact the editor with questions.
